Finding the house of your dreams is not a single viewing, you need to get familiar with the type of home available to you in the area of your choice! Our brokers can accompany you on these visits. During the viewing we will find out if the property matches your expectations and wishes. Our broker is also there to go over important matters concerning the house, and will advise a complementary inquiry, if necessary. In this way we will find out if there are any unexpected matters before an actual purchase occurs. When we find your ideal property we will start the negotiations on your behalf.

Negotiating is a craft and buying and selling houses is our business. We will advise you on the bidding strategy and together we will decide the best way to obtain your new home. Is the asking price reasonable? Is there a lot of competition? Do you want to move in within a short period? All these questions are important while negotiating. In short we will help you to purchase your new home under the most favourable conditions and for the best price.

Transfer of ownership

If all of the four steps above went to plan, then you’ve found your new home. Now we need to make sure that all the legal aspects of purchasing and becoming the owner of your new property are taken care of. In this region of the Netherlands we go to a public notary for a purchase contract and the deed of ownership. In the purchase contract all the agreements and obligations between buyer and vendor are stated. If necessary we can help you get in contact with a financial advisor and or an independent valuer for your mortgage application. After the terms and conditions in the purchase contract have expired and the mortgage or other finances are in place, the ownership of the property can be transferred. This is also done by the notary, and for non-Dutch speakers it is obligatory to have a translator present.
